What the guide is and what it costs

A fourteen-page PDF with the steps from idea to first orders on Shopify, in the order we follow with clients. It costs $9.99, paid once, and arrives by email immediately after payment. It is not free and it is not a subscription. If you prefer to read at no cost, a good part of the same ground is covered publicly on this site.

About the author

Written by Andrei Alexandru.

I founded Sell Easy and we have been building Shopify stores since 2020. This guide is what I explain to every client at the start, in order and in short: what you sell, how the store is built, the legal side, the integrations you choose and what you check before launch.

The ten steps, in short

Each step says what to do, in what order, and what to verify before moving on. No chapters about mindset.

Steps 1–3

Product, demand, structure

How to check that demand exists before you spend money, how to pick the first products, and what a catalogue that is easy to navigate actually looks like.

Steps 4–6

The legal and operational side

What you need as a company, which pages payment providers check, how invoicing and couriers connect, and which shipping rules protect your margin.

Steps 7–8

The pre-launch checks

The same list we go through ourselves: test orders, speed on a phone, emails, indexing. These are the things that otherwise surface on the first real order.

Steps 9–10

First traffic and first numbers

Where the first visits come from, what budget makes sense at the start, and which numbers tell you in month one whether this is working.

Before you buy

Who it helps and who it does not

We would rather you did not buy it than buy it and find it useless.

It helps if

  • You want to open a store and do not know where to start
  • You launched recently and suspect you skipped steps
  • You want the right order of things, not scattered tips
  • You prefer to do it yourself, with a clear plan in front of you

It does not help if

  • You have been selling for years and want advanced tactics
  • You want someone else to do the work for you
  • You are looking for a shortcut to fast money — there is none here
  • You need answers about your exact situation rather than a general path

If you are in the second column, the honest alternatives are a store built by us or a conversation about your own numbers. Both cost more than a guide and are worth it in different situations.

At no cost

What you can read for free, right now

Part of what the guide covers is published openly. We are not hiding that: if you have the time to read, the information is there.

The paid guide adds the order, the checklists and the format you can read in one sitting. Collecting the same information from the site yourself is just as valid.

Frequently asked

Questions about the guide.

Not answered here? Message us on WhatsApp at +40 785 735 820.

How much does the guide cost and how do I get it?

It costs $9.99, a one-off payment by card. As soon as the payment is confirmed you get the download link by email. It is not a subscription and nothing renews automatically.

Is it free?

No. We removed the word “free” from every label that pointed here, because the guide is paid. If you want information at no cost, a good part of it is published on this site: the ecommerce SEO pages, the pricing pages and the glossary.

Who is it useful for, and who is it not for?

Useful if you are about to open a store or launched recently and want the right order of things. Not useful if you have been selling for years and are looking for advanced tactics — in that case a conversation about your own numbers is worth more than a general guide.

How long is it and how long does it take to read?

Fourteen pages, written to be read in about an hour and applied over a few weeks. Each step says what to do, in what order, and what to check before moving on.

Is it updated?

The current edition is 2026. When something important changes — platform features, rules that affect online sellers — we update the guide and everyone who bought it receives the new version at the same email address.

Can I get a refund?

It is a digital product delivered immediately; when the right of withdrawal applies is set out in our terms and conditions. If the guide turns out not to be useful to you, write to us and we will find a solution.

What exactly does it cover?

Ten steps from idea to first orders: checking demand before you invest, choosing the first products, catalogue structure, what to prepare legally and financially, connecting invoicing and couriers, the checks before launch, where the first traffic comes from and which numbers to watch in month one.

Is the guide useful if I sell on a platform other than Shopify?

The business steps — checking demand, catalogue structure, the legal and financial side, shipping rules, the first numbers — are the same on any platform. The technical part is written for Shopify, because that is what we work with every day, so on another platform you will skip a few screenshots and settings.

Who wrote it?

The team that has been building Shopify stores since 2020 and managing Google Ads accounts. The examples come from real projects: the same mistakes we fix on stores taken over from other providers are the ones the checklists are built to prevent.

Do I get support after reading it?

The guide does not include consulting. If you get stuck on a specific step you can send us a short question on WhatsApp and, if the answer fits in a message, you will get it. For help applied to your own situation, that is a separate paid service.

Sell Easy First step

Would you rather we built it?

The guide is for people who want to build it themselves. If you want the store built by us, it starts at €950 and the first call is free.

Your free plan, within 24 hours:

  • how many people search Google for what you sell, in your country, and what a click costs;
  • a 29-point check of your store, if you already have one;
  • 3 fixed, written price options to choose from.

No obligation. The 24 hours run on working days only, and I check every plan personally before it goes out. The team takes on at most 5 new projects a month. Andrei Alexandru, founder

In the contract: the store, the domain and the ad accounts are in your name · projects are paid 50% at the start and 50% at launch · ads and maintenance can be cancelled month to month, with no exit fee.

A real result, from a client’s account: the cost per order from Google fell from 802 RON (≈ €160, April) to 149 RON (≈ €30, 1–22 September 2026).
